In the history of Greco, a variety that would have disappeared without the patient recovery made by Antonio Mastroberardino after the war, the Vignadangelo selection is the result of extensive research of nature and position of the terrain to allow for the best expression of the variety.

VINEYARD AND SOIL
Santa Paolina, with a South-East exposure and chalky-clay soil. The altitude is of 400 m a.s.l. The training system is the espalier with guyot pruning system and the density of plantation is 3,500 vines/hectare (about 1,400 vines/acre).
The yeald is of about 7,000 kg/ha (6,200 lbs/acres) and 2 kg/vine (4,40 lbs/vine).
